well since others seem to take news on early prices for granted and would rather be critical of your thread format, i'll be the first to say thanks for the doing the research. best b&m price yet.

For what it is worth to those have patience...
I'm willing to bet that this title gets significantly cheaper in six months or so. I've seen THX1138, caught it on cable or vhs or something quite a few years back and the one thing I remember about it was that it was s-l-o-w. Not the kind of movie to keep the interest of the average luke six-pack.
I expect there will an initial burst of demand from auteurs and star wars freaks, and then demand will plummet and I'm betting that will result in the street price bouncing around $10-$12. Who knows, we might even see it thrown in with star-wars as a promo bundle come X-mas.

I was thinking this exact same thing tonight, but I'll be the first in line to purchase this truly visionary film on Tuesday.
