Clerks X For $19.99 At Borders & Best Buy
Me and a friend stopped by Borders for him to pick up an order and were surprised to see "Clerks X" priced lower than BB or CC for $19.99.
This was at the Borders in Tampa, FL (Dale Mabry HWY South)
Best Buy had advertised this for $24.99, but it is ringing up as $19.99 (better deal if you can get your hands on a 20% coupon).
The Best Buys in Tampa, FL area are being pretty stringent with these. I was told by an associate that they have boxes of them, but will not give you one unless you purchase Madden AND YOU HAVE TO ASK THEM FOR IT, AS THEY ARE NOT AT THE REGISTERS!

Yes, at Best Buy it's ringing up at $19.99. I used a 20% off coupon and it came to $15.99. Cool.

yeah, I'm hoping that's not right. The corporate discount at Borders is good for 20% or 15% off DVD prices, depending on the clerk... so if it's on sale might make for a decent deal.

Blockbuster has it for $24.99 (trade in a few of your crap dvd's you've been meaning to get rid of but haven't and drop that price $5 a block at a time) - voila.

The first Best Buy I went to today (Woodbury, MN) was out of this title - I suppose because everyone found out that it was mismarked and because they only got 12 copies - but the second (Inver Grove Heights, MN) still had all 21 they had received in back - they hadn't put them out! The copy the clerk gave me was marked $19.99 and that's the way it rang up also. The screen the clerk brought up to check stock listed the normal price as $19.99, clearly a mistake, and a promotional price of $24.99, the advertised price.

I had so many craptacular dvds that my father's side of the family got me as gifts that I could give two shits about. Got around 90 bucks in gift card money.
Wow!

also had a woman behind me who was going to either rent Jersey Girl or The Ladykillers. She asked the employee who was helping me out to recommend either to her because "she only had one free rental left" or something like that (god she looked rich...why not both). She liked Tom Hanks, but she wanted to see Jersey Girl because she "loves Liv TAYLOR." WTF! Me and the BBV clerk were about to fall down laughing.
He was a total Kevin Smith fanatic and told her to see Jersey Girl because Kevin Smith is such an excellent director (I for one thought Jersey Girl was just OK). We got into a discussion about Clerks while he was finishing trading in my dvds.. Most intellectual person I have ever met at a BBV.

I picked it up for $14.99 at my local Best Buy today. Stickered at $24.99, rang up at $19.99 and then the cashier took off that little $5 off sticker on the case and scanned it in, even though I didn't buy another Kevin Smith disc.
