When does DDD lower new release prices to beat B&M prices?

When does Deep Discount DVD usually lower their new release prices to beat B&M sale prices?

I want to order the Knight Rider Season 1 set but it is still priced at $38.99.

I was expecting to see the price drop to $34.89 to beat Circuit City's sale price.

It usually takes a couple/few days for these to go into effect. Keep watching, as it's bound to happen soon (I hope).

They seem a little behind today. Usually they lower prices on the morning of the release date. They still have Hidalgo for 21.89 this morning. CC and BestBuy both have it for 15.99, so I'm sure DDD will go at least 15.89, but they haven't yet.

chsidwel is correct. DDD has lowered HIDALGO this morning to $15.89.

They have done the same thing to 13 GOING ON 30 for the same price.

I have given up using DDD for major release titles, when I can go to the B&M directly on street date and pick up my title at the best price to begin with rather than wait for DDD to lower their pricing.

I know I can pre-order titles and then ask for a price adjustment, but am tired of going through the hassle when I can get the best price at a B&M in the first place!

After taxes and gas for me, and considering I don't ususally watch the titles immediately, DDD is still tops in my book

Taxes, Gas, and TIME (either getting home late or spending my lunch going there). Plus I love getting stuff in the mail, it's like Christmas!

It took 20 mins to pricematch Evangelion vol. 1 to BestBuy's $20.79 today...

Not the best use of my time (I'm glad I'm a multitasker), but DDD is definitely my shop of choice, for the reasons stated by Justin.

Yeah, even though every time I order from them they're always out of stock their CS is the best. I asked them if I could pricematch to BestBuy my pre-order of the Eva /w box without having to cancel the order and then make a new one. They did it without any fuss. It finally shipped today as well
