I pull similar stunts, also.

Got an email with this offer... still don't think i'll renew. Walmart beats BB on major releases consistantly, so not even having the temptation to use the card will be good. Although I did get $40 in certificates last year, my DVD spending has reduced quite a bit so don't think i'll get much use on it.

You definitely want to be a member if you have any big purchases to make. I got a new washer and dryer and got $110 in certificates the next month.

And it looks like they might be adding some extra discounts for reward zone card holders. Last week, there were a couple of CDs on sale for $11.99 with an extra dollar off for card holders.

Can anybody direct me to a place to download an older version of Acrobat? I'm using 6.02 and neither PDF worked for me.

Like most of you guys I got my card for free, unsolicited, in the mail last summer. So far I've accumulated $30 in certificates, and there were a couple times when the card in combination with promotions the store was running helped me get exceptional deals (especially on video games). So I guess it's a good thing.

The renewal offer they sent me (which I had to take advantage of by 7/14 if I wanted to use it) was I would get $15 in certs for renewing AND spending $200, which seemed pretty crappy to me. My card expires on Aug. 31, and if I can get this deal to work for me, I'll use it.

Sweet!

Like many others, I was undecided about renewing.
This clinches it!!!

I'm guessing this email only went to people who accumulated over a certain $$$ of of Reward Zone cash, which is why I haven't gotten the email ( I only earned about $90 or so)

Much thanks OP!!!

BeckysBoy, I used Acrobat 6.0.2, as well. Both PDF files work for me. Weird.

Anyone wanting the coupon and having a problem with the PDF file, email me (andrea at mobius-soft.com) and I'll hook you up. I'll be out of town starting Sunday, so get your requests in before then.

I was pretty PO'ed when I had $15 of rewards expire because I didn't realize that the expiration date wasn't just a suggestion. (Media Play coupons don't get rejected.) But, with this deal, I guess I'll re-up, it is free and I buy plenty of stuff at Beast Buy, either on their sales or my making them PM other ads.

Thanks Andrea.
Mine expires on 7/31 also, but I didn't receive the coupon. I wasn't going to renew, but will now.

The first link didn't work for me either, but the second did.

For free, why not?
If you only buy one thing with the 'free' certificates, you've broken even.
I won't renew this time, because mine actually doesn't run out till 11/30.
I don't mind 'whipping it out', I just am never sure when to give it to them because it seems their registers are wonky. But if I get cash back for buying stuff I would buy anyway, I'll be a pain in the butt.

BeckysBoy: Yeah, your deal doesn't sound so good. I've probably gotten about as much back as you, so mine will probably be similar.

DirkBelig: Did you lose the points, or the use of the certificates? If you had points pending, they expire, but if you had certificates due you or in transit, you should have been able to use them. Otherwise, your 12 month sub is really only good for 10 months, because it takes 6-8 weeks for them to process the points and send you the certificates.

I actually just got this coupon in the mail.
Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner so can't post it.

But I guess this coupon is going out 2 different ways at least.

For those of you who mention not wanting to carry the card, you don't have to.

I never carry my RewardZone card with me. You just tell the cashier that you want to use your RZ card at time of purchase and then using your phone number, they look up your number in a couple of seconds and your purchase is credited.

What is so geeky about pulling out a card? Don't you people use credit cards? I don't see the difference between the two. Pull out the RZ card, pull out the credit card.

Oh well, I'm gonna try using this coupon this week, mine expires on the 31st.

Alternatively you can just logon to the website and handle it from there. You have to have the receipt w/ you so you can enter in the code that is on there but it's really not too much hassle (just like using the card in the store isn't too much hassle but that's JMO ).

nemein,
I've tried looking for this option on the Rewardzone website and I could not find it.
I would do this every time as it's a much easier option for me.
Can you describe where on the site this option is avaialalbe?

Thanks

Has anyone with an expiration other than 7/31 tried using this?

Mine expires 8/31 and I may try it this weekend.

Mine doesn't expire until 9/10 of this year so I don't know if it would apply to me either.
