The newer Peanuts DVD releases ("A Charlie Brown Valentine" and "Lucy Must Be Traded") have been priced at $14.99, so it seems likely that's what the new price for the older DVDs will be.

I decided I wanted to cancel and get the 5 disc set so I used the "Live Chat" function at best prices.com to request that my order be cancelled. The CR said she would have it cancelled. An hour later I received and email stating that my order could not be cancelled because the item came back in stock and was shipped this morning and that I will get an email with tracking information tomorrow.
I don't know if the info was bs to keep my from cancelling but I suppose I'll know soon.

I know with the John Wayne set (which was a price drop), they shipped out some at the correct price before the "preorder" date. Once they ran out of stock, then they waited until the "preorder date" to send more....... I check my account on the page, and it says mine has shipped, but I havn't recieved a shipping notice yet.

All the individual Peanuts movies are listed at $11.79 and $16.99 MSRP, so it looks like whomever did the data entry just went down the Peanuts list and entered all the same numbers.

I got a confirmation e-mail as well saying the set was shipped on the 16th.

DDD has it for $36, and Amazon for $48, so I still think it s a misprice. The error must have been on the part of the distributor, and those two websites just downloaded the data directly without checking it and passed the mistake on to us.

Well, I was going to see what my status was and order one from buy.com as a backup, to my surprise, despite no email, mine has shipped.
Great deal, my wife has been hasseling me to get the Christmas special. I had been waiting for the Costco box, but at this price why wait.
