$37.79 out the door with STL. I doubt if this can be beat online or B&M on release date.

Sometimes it's a toss up between DDD and Amazon, but they're no tax and free shipping are kind of hard to beat. If you can wait a week or two for the DVD, it's a good deal.
Unfortunatley I live in North Dakota, so I have to pay tax. Pretty crappy.

When trying to order this DVD set tonight from Amazon.ca, I get the following from the site, "THIS TITLE IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE. If you would like to purchase this title, we recommend that you occasionally check this page to see if it has become available."

Its Sales Rank is Number 1# too....

Amazing! Now you can order it at Amazon.ca (sales rand 7) BUT its price is now $69.99 CANADIAN....

A far cry from the price last week when it could have been had for under $40 AMERICAN!

Yesterday, it was SOLD OUT and it hasn't even been released yet...

It seems that at first they "converted" the US$ 69.95 list price to CDN$ 69.95, and then applied their usual 30% pre-order discount.

Like I said a few posts back: "it seems like a misprice, so order while you can." I know I did, though it's too bad they've just stopped doing free DHL upgrades for international orders....

I hope that's not their only promotion. Seems kinda lame, considering that you can buy Beneath the Dome at Best Buy right now for less than $10.

Seriously, my birthday falls close to that so I'll just ask for them to get it for me.

Toys R Us is supposed to start Star Wars presells sometime next week. They should have a giveaway with it. With Return of the King they have a Frodo figure and usually they give away a stuffed something or other. The only problem is I believe it will be $49.99. But you never know maybe the release will fall around their next buy 2 get 1 free dvd deal.
