Why? He's asking for coupons not for feedback on the site.

Use this link for $1 off each item. The page says it expired 12/02, but it still works.

It is a UK site. CD-WOW.net has their prices in dollars. CD-WOW.com has the prices in British Pounds.

Shipping anywhere in the world is free!

I have made 4 seperate orders with them and have been satisfied each time.

Made 2 purchases with them. I'm very satisfy with them also after contacting them about a damaged DVD. They sent me a replacement without having to mail the original back, since the shipping cost would have been substantial.

I believe they ship out of Hong Kong, which is kind of strange considering they're a UK company.

They are a UK company but they hold and ship their stock from Hong Kong which is particularly good for us in the UK.

The important factor is their customer service is first rate, as good if not better than Amazon on top of very good prices.

I know this may be an old point, but if you go to www.cd-wow.com.hk, all the prices are shown in Hong Kong Dollars. You will be charged in your host currency for the products, which actually works out cheaper than both cd-wow.com AND cd-wow.net! And the postage is still free!

Use www.xe.com/ucc to convert between HKD and either USD or GBP as required to prove the point!

CDs for £7.40-ish. Better than £8.99 anyday!

There are two issues here- If I order from HK will I get censored DVDs? I know the Chinese gov't censors everything else..

Shipping charges make this not worthwhile to the US?

No. Most DVDs are the standard R3 issue if they are the Hong Kong version. However, there aren't that many R3s on the site. Most are R1/2. HK and China are different regions.

Free shipping...

Yeah, but is it still cheaper that the US dollar version after applying the "1 US$ off" Mastercard link?

The $1 off coupon does not appear to be working. I went as far as entering the cc info, but no discount. Oh well.

I have used them before and have been pleased.

The discount is working - you just never see it. All of the prices dsiplayed to you have already factored in the discount. If you looked up the price for the R3 release of Goldmember before you clicked that link, it would have showed up as $7.95. After clicking that link (and going back to cd-wow), it will show up as $6.95.

Except for a mention at the top of their homepage, the price adjustment will be invisible to you.

its still cheaper to go to the hong kong site than to use the coupon.

Before you complete the sale it lets you get charged in US currency. discs that were 13.95 on the us site before coupon are 12 on the HK site.

so still 95 cents cheaper than the coupon
