Castle Derrick Storm Graphic Novels
So I found the first two Derrick Storm graphic novels at a great price, and being a big Castle fan I immediately ordered them.
And I read the first one last night. It was really good. The art is above average and the writing was really good. It almost did seem like something Rick Castle would write if he were a real person. It was a fun, entertaining read.
I'm looking forward to the second one.
I just wish they had done more than four of them, and I wish they did some Nikki Heat graphic novels, too. Oh, well.

Re: Castle Derrick Storm Graphic Novels
The first two were co-written by Brian Michael Bendis and Kelly Sue Deconnick. Now, Bendis I've heard of, and my impression is that he has a good reputation. Deconnick I've never heard of. Whatever the case, the writing is really good and fits what you'd expect as the style of Richard Castle.
The art on the first one is handled by Lan Medina and Scott Hana, and looks really good. The art on the second one is handled by Emanuela Lupacchino and Guillermo Ortego, and looks almost as good.

I read a couple of these a few years ago during my Castle phase and liked them. Agree that a Nikki Heat one would’ve been good.
