Perfect World Comic Book Wish
I was going through my multiple boxes of comic books recently and realized that there's some characters and creative teams I miss dearly. It got me to thinking. Without taking into consideration changes in continuity (New 52 and such) and the reality of some writers and artists being exclusive now or (dead or whatever), what comic book do you wish they'd bring back with what creative team?
I'd have to go with Starman with James Robinson (obviously) and Tony Harris. I loved that book dearly.

I wish Micronauts could have gone on forever.
Bill Mantlo created a great world, and in my perfect world would fully recover from his injuries and be the main writer. He would take breaks and allow Alan Moore and Mike Baron to do occasional story arcs.
For the art, the past artists would form a great rotation, taking turns on story arcs: Michael Golden, Butch Guice, Pat Broderick, and Kelley Jones. Steve Rude would do guest art on some of the Mike Baron penned stories.
Bernie Wrightson would do the covers of any horror-ish issues.

The back issue market was thriving so I could sell off my old books for at least 50% what I paid for them. No way am I going to sell them at almost if not more then 90% loss.

I would like to read one last Batman story done by Denny O'Neil and Neal Adams. Those guys are getting really old. An old school Batman story without any references to what came after the Crisis in '86.

Not exactly what I had in mind, but I'm right there with you. How an a complete set of JLA (more than 125 issues) be selling for less than $60?!

Off the top of my head:
Geoff Johns/Scott Kolins on The (Wally West) Flash
There are probably others, but I've got the Flash on my mind thanks to the new show and I felt like the Johns/Kolins team was broken up just as they were hitting their peak. Johns' work on the book was still good post-Kolins, but it was never quite the same.

Alan Moore should be given his own Superman series. Curt Swan on art. Even better, make it a real Superboy series.
No one should be allowed near the Avengers except Kurt Busiek and George Perez. In fact, George Perez should be forced to draw every team book in existence. This is why we need cloning.

Howard the Duck by Steve Gerber and Gene Colan would have had a good, long run.
Alan Moore would have done more with Supreme, Youngblood, Glory and the Awesome Universe in general.

Neil Gaiman and a team of a-list artists doing a monthly Sandman vol. 2 series featuring the further adventures of Daniel-Dream and the other Endless that will reveal such mysteries as how Delight became Delirium and what happened to the first Despair. And features frequent appearances by his cute older sister.
More Grendel by Matt Wagner. I'd even settle for more Grendel Tales.
...and a few 'lost' projects that were mentioned but never happened:
Preacher Special: Sex Detectives by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.
Invisibles Hardcover OGN by Grant Morrison and various - proposed Invisibles project that showed what happened to the characters after the Supercontext emerged.

I'd argue that Brubaker did a lot better w/ DD than Bendis. Bendis did take him back to where he was great again.
King of Hell's Kitchen was my re entry to DD. It was a hell of a jump back in.
Brubaker arc for me was Devil in Cell Block D. Great prison drama.

Mark Gruenwald as writer on Quasar. I loved that series when it was published in the early 1990s, I wish Marvel hadn't neglected the character so much. A shame that Gruenwald died soon after the series was canceled.

I wish Alan Moore would write and Barry Windsor-Smith would draw a series of graphic novels based on whatever the hell they like and release them with great consistency.

Re: Perfect World Comic Book Wish
I'm gonna second Trevor's Micronauts suggestion. Mantlo's entire run was utterly brilliant. For a kid who fell in love with Star Wars and was looking for the next great space opera, Micronauts more than fit the bill. I've actually started buying replacement copies of the earlier issues because I read them to shreds. Still one of the best runs ever.
Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo on The Flash (if Wieringo were still with us). It was a brief run but they had some magic together. Their Fantastic Four run had great art but so-so writing.

I enjoy Waid's current run but I miss the crime/drama aspects.

I applaud what Bendis did for DD, some hiccups aside, but Brubaker built on it and took it far. His run was sooooo consistent in quality.
I quit when DD left and T'Challa took over, till my subscription ran out and I just got too busy, but what was Waid's run about?

I think Waid's run has been pretty perfect. Awesome art, and a nice balance between the swashbuckling Daredevil of the 60s and the Frank Miller "Let's make every day of Matt Murdock's live worse than the one before" blueprint.
Snake, the T'Challa run wasn't super great, but the art by Francesco Francavilla was amazing. He's one of the few artists who will get me to overlook a weak story.

Off the top of my head:
JLI by Keith Giffen, J.M. DeMatteis, with art by Kevin Maguire and Adam Hughes in rotating arcs.
Iron Man by David Michelinie and Bob Layton.
Legion of Super-Heroes by Keith Giffen and Tom and Mary Bierbaum (I know many hated it; but I was obsessed with that short run)
Superman by Dan Jurgens and Art Thibert.
DP7 by Mark Gruenwald and Paul Ryan
The Flash by Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo
(god, those last two just depress me that they can never happen...)
Obviously, I'm stuck in my glory years of reading: late-'80s and '90s.

I think I would have liked more of the Batman arcs from the 90s if they had better art. DC wasn't getting top shelf artists for him after the early 90s.
