The Place to talk about Comics

Pretty simple poll inspired by the new artist-centric trades, and I tried to collect the major figures (omissions most likely to come from the newer artists). My preference is Aparo since I grew up with The Brave and the Bold.

My favorite has always been Mike Golden.

Odd use of my intro for the Batman artist poll

Who is your favorite Batman artist?

musiquetom is an elaborate spam bot that isn't doing a very good job. It just copies what real people have written to appear real itself. Just check its post history. Eventually it'll probably drop a load of spam unless a mod/admin bans it ahead of time.

Good catch, some mod needs to ban the account.

You can do it with your magical powers.

Only when the cosmos is in peril...the spambot is a problem best handled by someone like Detective Chimp.

Re: The Place to talk about Comics

Since we're here... I used to enjoy talking about comics at the ol' comic book shoppee. Locally I used to shop at Pheonix Comics and Games. Sadly, the store manager had a tiff with her partner and left leaving two very obnoxious "Comic Book Guy" losers in charge. That's when I basically stopped talking "shop" at my LCBS.

Re: The Place to talk about Comics

I frequent quite a few shops in my area. There's only a couple that have a "Comic Book Guy" working in their shop. I only hit those stores if I know they're not working that day or if I'm looking for something in particular.
