Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
Curiously the Sinestro sale omits part 3 of the Sinestro Corps War saga, Green Lantern Corps #14; and the text descriptions on Comixology do not match the actual order of Sinestro Corps War chronology indicated on cover images.
https://dcomixologyssl.sslcs.cdngc.n...fdec&width=180 Green Lantern (2011) issues 13-20 are fragments of an overall crossover story arc. |
Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
The Injustice, Gods Among Us issues aren't actually on sale, are they? Aren't they always a buck?

I noticed that too; sneaky of Comixology to put them into the sales tier.
I'm thinking of a second account for all those digital series with a half off code someday. |

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
Hmm, I'm iffy on this one. The Fox and Sabrina are the two I have a legitimate interest in (I've already read Afterlife). We'll see.
Is the Image bundle over? |
Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
Comixology has a 'Get 50% off your first Marvel order of $15 or More' promotion using promo code Comix for new accounts.

Is the Image bundle over? I was tempted by the Image bundle, but just continue to resist transitioning to digital. They would have just sat there till I had something to read them on. |
Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
Daken sale... eh. Tempted by Byrne's Next Men run, though I haven't read Next Men in a decade or so, I think.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

It's 50% off Axis #1-5 To redeem, you must go through the Marvel storefront (even though it's run by Comixology, the code will not work on Comixology's site), add the 5 issues to your cart, and then use the code MEMBERJAN. It says this code will only work for subscribers, but if someone wants to test it out to make sure, go ahead and post your results here. |
Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
^ I've been slacking too, but at least fujishig alerted us about Monday.
I don't think I've bought anything this year. |
Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
Weird, when I checked late last night they only had the first two issues of the new Eternal Warrior series on sale, and I was wondering why they were selling the collections but not the issues. They probably weren't finished putting up the sale...

I don't know, I've meant to buy lots of these sale books, but keep forgetting until about 30 minutes after the sales end it seems. Plus, I've sort of been thinking about a huge purchase someday from a second account with one of those 50% off codes. But then I look at my backlog and just belay that thought. I'm working on organizing my physical books a bit this week and wow, it's been a blast of fun. Need another million hours to get it done, but I'm making a bit of progress. |
Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
Oh, on this Eternal Warrior sale, don't forget that we already own much of it from the Valiant Humble Bundle.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
There are a bunch of books being featured at Angouleme on sale, both English and French language versions of most of them:
https://www.comixology.com/Angoul%C3...WxsQ2Fyb3VzZWw Jodorowsky and Moebius's The Black Incal is also on sale: https://www.comixology.com/Humanoids...WxsQ2Fyb3VzZWw |
Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
^Similarly, Amazon has a few Angouleme titles for Kindle on sale. I'm a bit tempted by the 0.99 editions of Blake and Mortimer (which I already have a physical copy of), Lucky Luke (which I've been meaning to try), and Thorgal.

I'd love to dig into reorganizing some of my physical trades. I sorted them by publisher then by character a while back, but most of my new acquisitions haven't been incorporated into the system yet. |
Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
There's a sale on Uncanny X-men 281-321 today, 99 cents each. I didn't see a bundle option.
