A new free book on the Marvel Comixology app: Fantastic Four #48 (The Coming of Galactus).

Marvel Zombies #1 is also free, but I'm sure it has been before.

Thanks! I grabbed it inside the regular app. Also, they finally put out their first 'official' freebie of the year, Nova Phase #1 from SLG.

Don't they usually skip over Thursday for sales because of it being new comic book day? Or is it Wednesday? I can't tell anymore.

A heads-up, but if you're buying Miracleman on Comixology, be aware that there are two versions. There's a censored 'mass market' version and a 'parental advisory' version. I think the only difference between the two is that the censored version has panties drawn on a nude woman, but I thought folks might like to know.

If they're going to have two versions, it will be interesting to see how they handle the mass market version since future entries in the story feature an explicit scene of childbirth, a graphic rape, and some really extreme violence.

Is Miracleman out already?

Edit: Yes, it would appear it is. I think I have to find a new LCBS. They didn't call me when the special edition of Sandman Overture #1 came in, and they didn't call me about this. And those are the only two titles I have on my pull list!

That Power Play sales continues, and three new sales start today, all three day ones.

Executive Assistant from Aspen Comics includes 6 collections and 40 issues from various series.

Paul Jenkins sale from BOOM! Comics includes Deathmatch 1-12 and two collections, and the former Kickstarter book Fairy Quest issues 1&2.

Rick Remender sale from Image includes Sea of Red 1-13, Black Science 1, and Strange Girl 1-18 with that omnibus for $15.

Joe, where do you find these deals? And correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but you can only enter these codes via the website, and not the iOS or android apps.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Two new sales begin today.

One is a weeker from Vertigo on The Unwritten: all 59 issues (1-54 with 5 '.5' issues) for 99 cents each.

Anyone read this? I wish the companies would give at least the first issues for free in these deals. You'd think people would be much more likely to buy runs if they could read an issue.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

The second sale is a three day event from Dynamite on Damsels: issues 1-11, the five issue Mermaids mini, and the one-shot Giant Killer for 99 cents each.

Sounds interesting, but is it just a Fables copy?

There's a little banner on the Comixology website each day. I think you have to purchase them through the site together the deal, not the app.

Today's kind of sucks, just the first issue of X-Men Battl of the Atom for 99 cents.

I have read through issue 41 (vol 7 of the tpb), and enjoy it. I plan on picking up 42-54 to finish off the series during the sale. I am hoping the Fables crossover is done well.
