I was always fond of the Samurai stories and movies so is no surprise that I absolutely love the Usagi Yojimbo series especially the early series. I finished his early appearances and the first series collected through the first few books.

Well, I admit I've had some less-than-wholesome thoughts about Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn

If you haven't seen it, look for a book called Oko, published in the US by Archaia Press. It's actually a French comic, but it's set in a mythological, pre-Shogunate Japan inspired world, and it focuses on the adventures of a ronin named Oko and his companions. It's really good.

In other news, my copy of the XStatix omnibus arrived today. Man, is it huge.

Mad Love was actually pretty provacative for a kids show tie in comic. I think Film said they purposefully put stuff that would never fly on the tv show.

Thanks for your recommendation. Never heard of it but it's pretty cheap in Amazon so I'll order the first volume to try it.

Cool. Post back here once you've read it and let us know what you think.

Harbinger is real fun stuff. Those early Valiant comics from the 90's are about as close as comics have ever come to the feeling Marvel had in the 60's with a cohesive universe and fun characters under one direction.

Anyone here still use mailordercomics.com? I've been a longtime user, but man this new site makes it really painful for me to find stuff (and I missed two months of orders already). Anyone who still orders from there actually like the site, or have some tips on how to browse more effectively?
