Dectective Comics #27 tarnishes the Man of Steels $1 million record
Another record this week!! Detective Comics #27 featuring the first appearence of Batman has just soled at Heritage Auctions for $1,075,000 edging out Action #1's $1 million.
the buyer is anonomous on this one too as is the seller. I'll guess Todd Mcfarlane or Steven Geppi on this one too.

Good week for comics. i wouldn't say this tarnishes anything. Its good for both issues.

Funny, didn't hear about this. The Superman was all over the news but this is the first I've heard of this.
