Need help... re: Comic Book Challenge

I don't know if you guys are familiar at all with the Comic Book Challenge (www.comicbookchallenge.com), but it's basically like an American Idol for Comics. People basically compete for a chance to get their comic published.

I have an entry that is currently in the top 10 and the top 10 are voted on by the general public. The top 3 move on to the next round. If you guys could take a look at my entry and vote for it if you like it, it would be appreciated:

Consider it done. Read through all of them and yours certainly seems to be the best, most well considered pitch (that isn't just some glorified wish fulfilment fantasy) and possibly the only one of the batch that could support an ongoing series. Nice job Hope you win.

I voted, too! I liked the "hook" in your story and could easily see it being a series. Good job!

I voted too... but it looks like you can vote multiple times, as long as you can put in the captcha, so the winner won't be determined by unique votes... good luck, though!

I came in thinking we were going to have a comic book reading challenge like our various DVD challenges....

But I'll check your book out, thanks for the links.

I read through all 10 pitches first before clicking on your link to find out which one was yours..... my favorite was BiteWorld followed by The Reserves and RedMullet and Cowboy.

Sent 5 votes your way. Make sure you update this thread if/when Platinum publishes your book.

I liked it and voted. I like how well-developed your pitch is, too. Looks like if you get it you could easily do many issues.

Thanks guys! I seriously do appreciate each and every vote you guys have been sending my way. But I'm being told it's a tight race, so if you really want to see the comic get published, vote some more and spread the word!

Sorry to hear that - I really thought your entry was the best (and I voted multiple times). The problem with this type voting is it's not representative of anything other than how many of your buddies you can get to cast a few thousand votes, so don't be discouraged by this. You gots talent and no doubt you'll find a way to get seen.

I have a feeling that a lot of people just saw the title as another vampire book and thought we had enough of those already. I say, never have too much as long as it is good. *shrug*
