I've heard some of the buzz about Captain America #25. Is it just the Wizard variant that's expensive? Can I walk into my LCS and get the regular old version of this book?

You'd have to be damn lucky to get the regular version at this point in the game.

That doesn't surprise me one bit. I sold a regular copy of Ultimate Spider-Man 1 for $100 a few years after it was published. These are only selling for $80 each.

Past couple days the price was $100 or so for the pair of #25. Now it looks like they're down to $20-30. That was quick.

Apparently a reprint/reorder is coming.

Oh well. I'm not a huge fan or anything, but based on the buzz I figured I would read it. I'll just wait for a reprint.

According to this Marvel did a massive over print of the issue, but of course retailers couldn't order them when they needed them. Assholes.

Heres some retailers feelings on getting burned:

Stopped by my LCS today. They said they are getting 50 more copies of the 1st print on next Wed. He said for some reason, they got more copies than they ordered, and actually had 120 copies on Wed, which lasted till 2PM

Just to double-check, I looked at his recent feedback and some of the people who bought their copies for $60-$80 once the hype hit have already received theirs, but I still haven't received mine (which I purchased before the hype for $13).

I sent him an email asking about it and he said he mailed it early this week so I should have it any day now.

We'll see.

I saw one seller on Ebay had sold 50 of the Wizard variants. There was a limit of 4 per person at the LA show, I wonder if this guy had to refund alot of money? I sure hope you get your book at that great price!
