Re: TPB/GN Exchange Thread

I'm moving in two weeks and I have about 5 longboxes full of newer stuff. Most is in sequential sets. I'm probably going to list everything with pictures that I have on another site by tonight that I can link to later but in the mean time if anyone is looking for something in particular PM and I can get back to you on whether I have it or not.

Anyone want to trade for Batman City of Crime by David Lapham or the Whatever Happened to the World of Tomorrow Alan Moore trade (that also has For the Man Who Has Everything and DC Comics Presents 85)?

Feel free to make me an offer.

Re: TPB/GN Exchange Thread

I have Invincible volumes 6 and 9 (TPB), would trade for most anything I don't have, especially Brit 1, Guarding the Globe, Savage Dragon, Science Dog, SuperPatriot, BPRD, Hellboy, 52 volume 3, Saga of Swamp Thing.

Also have a ton of Green Lantern books and collections I'd be looking to dump (mostly early 90s stuff for the floppies and newer stuff for the books, pm if you want specifics).

Not specific wants I'm afraid.

Would like to trade both at once.
I guess I still have both of these. Will also add a bunch more to the list as I'm organizing my TPB bookshelves this week. I know I also have an extra Identity Crisis and JLA JSA: Virtue & Vice.

Not very, but let's make it active again! I'm looking to purge a chunk of my collection so plan to add trades and floppies here over time.

All in favor of getting this thread un-stickied?

As the thread starter, I wouldn't mind. If there is actually an interest in this thread, maybe start a new one that doesn't have mostly posts from over a year ago.

I guess either option has it's strengths, but I'm thinking this one can just be bumped and used as needed, although without the sticky I guess it may be forgotten and new thread(s) started.

Maybe something like a single post sticky with links to all the 'important' threads of the subforum? Call the thread something like 'read before posting new threads and/or comic forum main threads/links'?

I don't know what the best way to do it is, but I think this thread stopped being useful when nobody posted anything new for a long time. Although, I feel like this forum has had some noted increase in participation which makes me happy.

Yeah, we may not be busy enough for trading. Or too busy and 10-20 separate trade threads for individuals would be too much clutter in the forum.

Or most may think like I usually do in that the logistics of mailing stuff out usually just has me give my unwanted stuff away or donate it for tax credit.

Yes, the recent upsurge in activity makes me very happy. I prefer to go to as few websites as possible, with DVDTalk my Internet home since 1998. I also have recently re-dedicated myself to my first hobby, comics. It's like peanut butter and chocolate!

I'm looking for a copy of the Script Book for the Farscape series from a few years back, anyone happen to have a copy for sale/trade or any idea where to look to find one?

Re: TPB/GN Exchange Thread

^Great deal for anyone who wants Marvel Unlimited. I was real close to doing it myself, but I just don't think I'll use it much at this point. I need to be more converted to digital before it would be good for me...
