Hi

Well ... I am going to start my Punisher Collection ..

What is the difference between:

and

Thanks

The first one collects a 12-issue limited series. That series was popular, and therefore led to an ongoing series; the second collection pictured collects issues from that series.

If you enjoy Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's take on the Punisher, you might want to check out Preacher from the same creative team.

Well, there's the twelve issue limited series as mentioned (first picture), then that led to an ongoing (not pictured) regular series which led to the ongoing Max series (second picture).

Both are great books but I would start with the first one. The Welcome Back Frank storyline is one of the best Punisher story lines ever. The second is the new Marvel Max ongoing series which is also very good.

That site should list all of the Punisher tpbs. The first one you listed is actually volume 4 and the second one is volume 6, but they're probably the 2 best places to start.

Another vote for that.

Preacher and Sandman are two of my all-time favorite series.

Does anyone know why the second MK's HC of the Punisher is out of print?

Hell, why are so many of the MK's Punnishers TBP's oop while we are on the topic?
