is now the time to sell my Sin City comics?
I have a bunch of comic books that I've been meaning to sell on ebay, and I keep putting it off. But with the movie coming out, is right now the best time to sell off my Sin City ones?

Single issues can get up there, but you have to remember that the new prints of the TPB's are out and really saturating the market. The best possible time to sell your sin city comics would have been when the TPB's were OOP a couple months back, but you'll still get a pretty decent amount for them now.

I'm curious about my books too, not the original issues, but 2 hardcover collections:
Sin City Hardcover with slipcase, First Edition (and only edition judging by the copyright info) signed and numbered by Frank Miller, low number too, out of a 1000. Bought about 11 years ago.
A Dame to Kill For First Edition . Think it's the mass market, as it has no slipcase, just a paper slip that slides over. The thing about this is it has a binding error (which could be construed as printing error). The second and third signatures are transposed.
Started thinking about that Dame to Kill For edition and its error a while ago; now, the mass marketing made me bust out my autographed copy to ponder over.
No way I'll sell anytime soon.

From: Texas! Damn right.
I need the DHP 5th Anniversary issue, if anyone's got their's up for grabs.
I think it's worth about 5 bucks.
I actually could use one, but they go for a bit more than that. Sundog, that SC hardcover's pretty freakin' sweet. Enjoy it!

If their original issues or something special like the LE hardbacks, then yeah, I think so. But they reissued all the TPBs in "pocket-size" and they're going fast.

One more thing -- I have a TPB of the original series, purchased about 9 or 10 years ago. But I searched ebay's listings and never found one that had the same cover:

Has anyone ever seen this one before? I have no idea if it's rare or not.

Professor Frink: My friend has the same one. I think it's pretty rare, as the one I have has Marv on the cover. It seems like the one you have is from the first print run or something.

does anyone know if they are re-releasing the last 2 books in the Sin City Series (To Hell and Back, and the broads.. book) to match the spines of the first 5 repressings?

I saw both of them at mycomicshop.com with the new covers. Looks like they're both in stock at the moment.
EDIT: I saw them on eBay as well.

There's suppose to a sequel to the movie. Usually the hype and interest hits it's peak prior to the release of the first sequel, everybody has high hopes after a great first film, dying to see what's next(ie. The Matrix). After the usual disappointment with the sequel interest and prices can drop like an anvil from a cliff.
