Just got DC's NEW FRONTIER in yesterday's shipment as well. I notice it is Vol. 1. Is the rest of the material published just not compiled yet, or did Cooke end the mini-series in the middle to come back to later?

as for daredevil, AFAIK it's still going just very slowly. the new frontier is going to be split into two volumes. just as an aside, there is a great site for looking at trades and the like. www.tplist.com. you should check it out.

These, for me, are the perfect format & price. I wish DC would pick up on this. Instead they continue to release hc's in the same format & manner they did in the late 80's. Breaking the Jim Lee Batman & Superman runs into two regular sized hc's irks me to no end when they would be some much better in Marvel's format.

I passed on it the first time around, but based on recommendations picked up the TPB and really enjoyed it. I think volume 2 is due out in May.

HC comes out in march. I would suggest waiting for that since the issues have taken so long to come out the prices may be inflated to much.

Did anyone pick up "Hellblazer: All His Engines"? I'm a huge fan of the series and the character, but I'm not sure I want to drop the money for a hardcover right now?

I really wish they wouldn't market the shit out of this with the variant covers for new avengers and telling what is essentially a 2-3 issue story over the span of 7-8 issues. Come on bendis, try some better pacing.

The only comics I buy are Invincible and Y: The Last Man in trade format. I was considering Conan and a new series called The Guardians (I read the first issue online -- it was average but the story has potential).

Starting reading the tpb for Hard Time over the weekend. A very different kind of comic and interesting read.
Is anybody reading it and can comment on how the series has been progressing? In other words, worth a spot on my pull-list?

I just bought spawn, breach, and superman/batman
Spawn = was going to drop this but the story picked up. I started in between the 1000 clowns story line and have no idea what the hell is going on but it looks good.
Breach = only read a few pages and so far so good. It has the preacher vibe to it.
Superman/Batman = No idea where they are going but last few pages were great.
Not sure I will stay long with any of these. I was hoping for something like The Maxx, Cerebus or Astro City. Not sure if comics like those still exist.
