Hi, just surfing the web and found out there is a comic book based on George R.R Martin's writting. Just wondering if anyone has seen them and if they are worth picking up. Are they worthy of buying or just cashing in on Martin's "universe"

The first two issues of the book are out. So far, they are a very faithful adaptation of the Hedge Knight. Supposedly, Martin is considerign whether to license the same company the right to do an adabtation of A Game of Thrones.

Everything that's been published or discussed is an adaptation of a preexisting prose story. There's not been any talk (as far as I am aware) of original comic stories set in Westeros.

I'm interested in this, but I'm waiting for the compilation.

When is the compilation being released?

The Hedge Knight story is based before Game of Thrones. I belive it is an adaptation of a short story he wrote. The first two issues sold out fast, they are going for around 10.00 on ebay.
