For those of you who already picked it up, does it come with a digital copy as well?

The two standard editions ($4.99) don't have a digital copy, but the combo edition ($5.99) does. I think it comes with the JHW3 cover only, and not the McKean cover.

I didn't realize there were multiple covers. Luckily my LCBS pulled both for me. I also added the Miracleman reissues to my pull list.

They also had a white variant cover that they were selling for $50. Don't know what the deal with that one is.

This is the exact reason I'm waiting for the collected issues. How is it so hard to forecast how long it takes to write and illustrate a comic book? Ridiculous.

At this rate, the book will be finished in time for Sandman's 30th anniversary.

Seems to me Sandman always had problems coming out in a timely fashion. Towards the end of the run, the new issues seems to come out randomly, and I remember being annoyed by a really long wait for the last issue of the second Death mini-series.
