Where's the best place to unload about 600+ comic books?...
(... besides the trash.)
I have quite a few boxes of comic books from my youth ('85-'91).
I've got almost every GIJoe, (McFarlane's) Spiderman's, The Entire Thanos Quest and Infinity Guantlet sets, a bunch of New Warrior, Guardians of the Galaxy, Suicide Squad, X-men, X-Force, Ghost Rider, Punisher... a ton of 'em. A bunch of #1 and special editions... I've got alot.
Other than eBay, where can I get the best $$$ for these.
All are in plastic bags with boards and have been kept in great storage for almost a two decades.
Any ideas?

Charity, and take a deduction?
Comic books are a money pit, and you aren't going to get anything remotely close to guide value for most of that stuff.
If you'd sold the G.I. Joe's two years ago, you would have made a premium. Marvel has been reprinting the G.I. Joe series now, though, so they aren't as in demand.

Actually, I sold the The Amazing Spider-man #129 with fair condition for $70 on eBay. I bought that for $18.50 in 1986.
What I'm suggesting that you should try sell the most demand book on eBay and get rid of low demand books somewhere.

I had even more than that. I pulled out the best 50 or so from the 70's and 80's to sell on Ebay and gave the rest to my kid to read. For the most part comics have very little resell value.

My comics were not in great condition: I took most to a charity shop and kept a few faves and recent purchases.
A$$uming a recent sale, $18-50 to $70 over 17 years or less is surely better than would have been managed had the $18-50 simply been placed on deposit. No idea as to stockmarket figures for a comparable period... was there a near 300% rise?

If you are looking at that as an investment, thats pretty bad. It looks like you just about broke even.
