I finished "Trapped - The 1909 Cherry Mine Disaster" by Karen Tintori.
My great great grandfather is in the book. He was one of the 20 coal miners stuck in the mine (which was on fire) for a week. He was rescued and then died 2 days later. |

How'd you like Bluff? The author, Mike Kardos, lives in the same town as I do, and we worked together a few times as members of the same civic organization. I didn't realize that this book was out yet--I'll have to pick it up.

https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1...l/16131077.jpg An interesting twist on the well-worn serial killer thriller genre. I see it's been picked up for development by Leonardo DiCaprio's production company. But that was 5 years ago ... I wonder what's happened? The story seemed like one that would translate nicely to a movie, and has a concept (tracking a serial killer who jumps through time) that sounds like it should grab attention. |

Barely started it, but I'm not crazy about about the dialogue so far. |

I wanted to knock out the Odyssey "quadrilogy" and finished 2001 in a day and I'm almost finished with 2010. 2061 and 3001 will be done within the next few days.
