Stephen King's IT.. much better than the tv movie.. although the movie wasn't that bad.

11/22/63 was the best book he's done in years. I'm looking forward to the hulu series and hope it's just as good.

The OP was interested in ideas from his later works. Most fans would consider IT essential and a classic.

People always tend to overlook his Kindle-only short stories. He's written a few, some alone and some with Joe Hill. I found UR to be particularly good.

He has another collection due out this year, so I'm sure most of those will be in it.

Endings have ALWAYS been King's weakness.

For what it (or IT) was, the TV mini-series was pretty damned good. Unfortunately the material demands much more than what you could do on TV back in the 90's. I'm actually looking forward to a remake/revisit/reboot. The book is definitely one of King's upper echelon.

I'll join you in the minority. Duma Key was actually very good compared to most of his post-accident stuff. Admittedly though, it is only one of two on the list which I have read. (Cell is the other -- great premise, but it doesn't quite deliver; much of the imagery we have seen in other similarly themed movies).

The two short stories he co-wrote with Joe Hill will not be in the new collection, apparently due to different publishers.

Father and son collaborating and publishers can't work it out? That's pretty lame. Since there are two, why not split them? Put one in a King collection and the other in a Hill collection.
