I'm addicted to podcasts, but for some reason, I just can't get into audiobooks. I find that it's much easier to focus on a podcast, but my mind just ends up drifting when I listen to an audiobook.

I wonder if that's because the podcasts that I listen to are usually panel discussions, with multiple people engaging in a dialogue, while audiobooks are just one voice.

I think that's a good point. I have a pretty long commute, maybe 2.5 hours a day in the car, and finally got tired of the radio and moved to audiobooks. I have some CDs and then joined Audible, but after a few months of those I also found my mind wandering and missed much of what I 'read'.

I switched to podcasts, mainly comic book ones, and I'm hooked. Been nearly a year now and I'm constantly behind in what I want to listen to. There are so many podcasts out there it boggles my mind.
