It is a really good reference book on authors who wrote paperbacks back in the day. Short bios on tons of writers. One thing I wished it would have but doesn't is complete bibliographies on all of the writers. It only has partial bibliographies. Still, it is a good book worth reading.

It was a great series. Don't forget "The Alloy of Law" which is a sequel but takes place far into the future, so no characters from the original trilogy appear. Still a great read though.

I wanted to read it before the movie, which I thought was coming out this month, but I just found out that it only secured US distribution a few days ago. Oh well, I'm ready for its release next year.
