My god, The TommyKnockers is a slow read. Don't know why King decided we needed to know every character's entire life story as well as a 5 or 6 page explanation of the origin of the name of the town of Haven. We get little snippets of action interspersed with lengthy diatribe explaining a person's entire history. Christ, how tedious and boring..... -kd5-
