I'm about 2/3 through the audio book and I'm really enjoying it. I like listening to audio books while exercising and I've been searching for a while for books with the same qualities as the Dresden Files series, and this is the closest yet. It's pulpy without being too cliched, quick paced, fun and engaging.

How is your Fiancee handling it? I'm only 20% in and I'm having a difficult time. I can't read more than one chapter at a time. I'm also reading other books in between.
I thought Into the Wild was disturbing .. this is .. difficult.

Just finished Haruki Murakami's <b>Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World</b>

Really interesting mix of sci-fi and fantasy with a few noir touches.

Finished:

Dexter By Design: Better than the previous book in the series (Dexter In The Dark), but the story as well as it's ending are pretty safe. Hoping Lindsay gets the series back to how godly it was during the second book (Dearly Devoted Dexter)
