^ Enjoy -- wish I could read the Parker novels all over again for the first time.
Also, reminds me University of Chicago Press has released the latest 3 installments this month: Butcher's Moon, Comeback, Backflash.

^ No hardcover versions planned that I'm aware of. They were available in hardcover over the years from various publishers, but are tough to track down.
University of Chicago Press has been re-releasing them in batches of 3 a few times a year for the last couple years in handsome trades with good cover art and forwards (by Lehane, Ardai and Block for this latest batch) -- they're likely your best bet.

I picked it up for $3 at BAM! yesterday since I was going to be in and out of airports all day, iPhoneless. I managed to finish it in about five hours, give or take. I liked the setting quite a bit, although it's a rather depressing read, due in no small part to the three family members, none of whom I could really identify with.

Powered through the last 1/3 of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest last night staying up way too late. I finished at 2:30am and had to be up at 7.
I have a huge "to read" list. I'm not sure what I am going to read next. I have Neverwhere at the top of my pile. But, I might read The Naked Dame to give a fellow DVDTalker some support. I've never read any crime novels like it before, so it will be the first of its type.

Thanks! This is a standalone novel, and I'm currently finishing up an apocalyptic horror novel as a followup, but after that I could see returning to the genre. It's an awful lot of fun.

Nice on the Jim Butcher. I can't wait for the next book to come out later this year.
UR was a fun little read. Interesting story. I think I was able to read it in one sitting.

I'm about 10% in and enjoying it. I have never read a book in this genre before, so it is interesting to read. As I am reading it, I can't help but imagine a raspy voiced detective narrating the text like you see on those old tv shows.

I'm only about 6% in and it's scaring the crap out of me. I don't know if I can finish it. I don't usually get to worked up with these type books, but this one is really doing a number on me.
It's free! And it's scary!
