I'm about a quarter way through The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.

Stephen King's massive tome known as The Stand. Unlike his other big epic, It, there's no audiobook version so I decided, slow reader that I am, to give it a shot and see what the Constant Writer's alleged magnum opus is all about.

Faces Of The Gone was good. Eyes Of The Innocent was better. Both are worth reading.

Blood Meridian: Or the Evening Redness in the West by Cormac McCarthy

It's really good, beautiful prose, but the violence and debauchery have made it a slow read.

Up next may be this bad boy (although subject to something light before, have to buffer it from Blood Meridian):

2666 by Roberto Bolaņo

Picked it up at Borders with their 40% off. A bit surprised it was still there, but it was the only copy and as you see it's a weird 3 volume edition.
