Just knocked out the latest Jack Reacher book Worth Dying For which was pretty decent.



I had taken a break from The Hunger Games series to read it, but now on halfway through Book 3. Gotta say, that series is pretty damn good. And should hopefully make an EXCELLENT series of movies.

What'd you think? I read this a couple months back and was mildly impressed (better than most debut's, imo).

Went to bed and, right on schedule, began Sir Alec Guinness's A Positively Final Appearance. I made it 50+ pages fairly quickly. It's almost funny to read the animosity he had for Star Wars and its fans, but I was taken by surprise to read him deride Christina Rosetti's "Goblin Market." I rather liked that, and I generally dislike all poetry. I found "Goblin Market" alluring and sensual; Sir Alec did not.

I agree. It was a good debut and I will probably read Lou Berney's second book
when it comes out.
