Don't worry - if it is a short story and not a novella, you can bet your bottom dollar it'll appear again in SK's next collection of short stories.

Anyway, I read this a while ago, but I rank them this way:

4>2>3>1

4 and 2 are excellent, 3 is very good and 1 is just OK for me.

True, but given he just put out Just After Sunset, the next collection probably won't happen for quite some time.

I am curious if it's as dark and twisted as the 4 novellas.

I thought having the brother in on it was an easy out. I felt more could have been mined from the guilt of killing an innocent person.
