Robert Capa/The Falling Soldier in fiction -- any help

George Will recently wrote an article about Robert Capa's famous wartime photo "The Falling Soldier" ("Loyalist Militiaman at the Moment of Death").

I remember reading a book, I believe fiction, that discussed both Capa and the photograph, but I can't remember what it was. Any ideas? I do not believe that the book was specifically about the Spanish Civil War, but I could be wrong (Hemingway?).

It's one of those things that keeps bugging me. Thanks for ideas.
