I continue to read The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream by Barack Obama. Up till now, I've done a pretty good job of completing a book before month's end, but I started this one too late to knock it off in October (thank you, baseball and Horror Movie Challenge).

It's been some years since I read it, but I really liked it. Probably my favorite Barker, though I haven't read many of his. But yes -- six attempts! Probably ok to give it up.

The Venetian Betrayal by Steve Berry--a Dan Brownish sort of yarn. Also, Psmith Journalist by P.G. Wodehouse--of Jeeves and Wooster fame.

Two nights ago, I finished The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama. Last night, I started (and finished) The Man with the Golden Gun by Ian Fleming. Not sure what's next. I know that Half Price Books is going to be running a sale starting Monday, so I might just sit tight and see if I find something new to read there when I go.
