Thought I'd give this a bump since I see there are a few new people using this site here.

Also I have friends of some of you guys here, but I don't know who you are on goodreads because of the different names.
Here I am if anyone wants to add me . . .

I've just joined goodreads under my own name, David Marshall. I'm basically an SF, fantasy horror person with the occasional mystery thrown in. Join me as a friend if our interests overlap.

I love it! I don't have an account because I simply have too many books to keep track of and I don't have much time to keep track of the book. It's a great site and most of my friends either use that or LibraryThing

Other good ones:

Shelfari

BookArmy

aNobii

Bookcrossing

Just signed on and finished importing my books from 2008 on.

Going to be using GoodReads for books I read, and LibraryThing for books I own.

Re: Anybody here on goodreads ? (good site to find new stuff to read)

I joined GoodReads a couple of years ago, but I've just started actively using it and adding a ton of books I've read or want to read. I added several people from this thread, but anyone else can feel free to add me as well!

Somehow I missed this thread over all these years.

I'm on there as well. If you add me, just include a short message that mentions dvdtalk.

Re: Anybody here on goodreads ? (good site to find new stuff to read)

I obviously don't come into the book forum enough. For anyone interested, here's me: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/7671770-james-powell

I'm primarily interested in debut novels and anything with elements of horror, science fiction, and fantasy. Sometimes crime.
