Warhammer
Anyone read any of the pulpy Warhammer or Warhammer 40K novels? A couple caught my eye in the store the other day and looked like good old fashioned hack and slash kinda stuff.

I've read the Space Wolf Omnibus and it's about as B movie as you'd expect. It's entertaining though. I've heard great things about the Eisenhorn books as well and they're in my to-be-read pile.
If you're looking for a smash-bang sci-fi action book, I'd recommend giving Death's Head by David Gunn a shot (no pun intended :P) Visceral and unapologetically violent; a lot of fun if that's your thing.
