Excited that I'm on the final book :)

This is my first time reading through the series and I am loving it. Hopefully this book will be a fitting finale.

I nearly threw the book across the room when
Spoiler:
the giant robot shows up and kills the Al Qaeda terrorists
, but that's only about 20 pages from the end.

I've been looking for this. Stephen King had it on his suggested summer reading list.

Finished it this morning, it's the perfect summer reading book. Reads very quick, like a classic Le Carre novel but modern for the post Bourne-era, with a very likeable lead character. I can't recommend it enough.

Now I just started . . .

Nobody else picked it as probably the most enjoyable on the Top fiction list in Book Sheep. :(

From what I read on the list, I preferred The Scarecrow over The Strain.

Still picking away at the Bruce Campbell book, but just finished:

Space Merchants is awesome. I really didn't like Wolfbane, another Pohl/Kornbluth collaboration, but Space Merchants and the Merchants War are both great. Pohl is one of my favorites, and Kornbluth's career )and life) were way too short.

Currently:

Death Masks, 4th in Harry dresden series
Treason, Orson Scott Card
