Need help finding a decent deal on the Harry Potter Audio Collection

So you fine literate folks can help a guy way out of his depth here right?

The wife loves the Harry Potter set and is addicted to books on CD while she drives. She knows that I spend far too much time searching for random electronics deals so she asked me to try to find a good deal on the entire Harry Potter collection on CD for Christmas. It's $287 new at Amazon and $253 used through third party sellers. The cheapest way is to grab each title individually used, but I think it sucks to give a bunch of used items as gifts without knowing if they're in good shape.

Does anybody else know where to look to see if I can find a deal? I've searched everything I know and can't find a cheaper deal than about $210 through the Amazon third parties.

I was going to suggest Audible.com, but why sell it their for a reasonable price when you can pay through the nose elsewhere? Harry Potter is not available at Audible.

Damn. Those are the kinds of suggestions I was hoping for since I've never heard of audible before, so thanks for trying. In my electronics experience there's usually that one somewhere that offers a slightly better deal than the rest if you're willing to look around a bit, but I haven't seen anything at all on this set.

Also, go w/ the U.K. versions over the U.S. ones. Jim Dale is great, but he's no
Stephen Fry.

I've head that Dale is very popular and has a fan base because of his Potter readings.

Yes, that is true, but, trust me, as someone that has listened to both versions, Jim Dale can't hold a candle to Stephen Fry. A PERFECT example is in HBP when Harry is going back to the common room after his detention w/ Snape to find out what happened at the last Quidditch match. Stephen Fry's narration gave me goosebumps, Jim Dales was like, "Oh, that's plesant," in comparison.

If you are still looking for a decent deal, you can use the Live.com 20% cashback to get all 7 HP Audiobooks brand new for about $200 shipped here on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ALL-7-Harry-Pott...3%3A1|294%3A50

And I have listened to all of the HP books as read by both Jim Dale and Stephen Fry, and I find them both to be very strong... I don't think you can go wrong either way.
