How do you read a book in two days?
Currently reading Poe's Shadow, edited by Peter Straub.
Next is Just After Sunset, by Stephen King.

I usually only read one at a time, but I am reading two right now because I couldn't decide which one I wanted to start first. I'm sure one will become the dominant one and I'll end of finishing the other one up after.

He learned Italian (fluently) in about three months, including idiomatic expressions. When asked at his press conference how he did this, he replied (in fluent Italian) "I'm extremely intelligent."

It's possible... There are the books that are just too good to put down, and some authors who write in such quick, simple sentences, it doesn't take much to read them. James Patterson is the obvious example, Harlan Coben is another whose last book I finished in one day.
I'm reading Your Money or Your Life.

You can sniff a James Patterson book these days and get the gist of the plot.
I'm going to have to use that the next time someone asks me about James Patterson and why I don't read his books any more.I'm reading Just Past Sunset now.

Just started The Gunslinger from the Dark Tower series... based on the positive feedback at this forum I decided to make my next 7 books this series.
