Seriously, thanks to whomever originally suggested Garden of the Moon many months ago. The Malazan series is by far and away the best fantasy I have ever read.

Just picked up Vincent Bugliosi's Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy from the library. It's going to be a long read.....

This should be a fitting end point (Octavian becoming the first Roman emperor) to McCullough's "Masters of Rome" series. She wanted to quit after the sixth book, The October Horse, but it seems fans begged and goaded her into writing one more.

I just finished George Alec Effinger's "A Fire in the Sun" and am now reading Three novels by John Crowley which comprises "The Deep", "Engine Summer" & "Beasts".

and
The Accidental Time Machine.
About to start the Foundation series. Though I've read various Robots stories, and as many of his short stories as I can find, I've never made it through Foundation.
