I just started Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I was trying to read the book before I see the movie, but I kept getting sidetracked.

You have to be a Civil War buff but OMG Yes! It is the definitive collection of the Civil War.

Finishing up Gene Wolfe's The Claw of the Conciliator. After that I'll be reading the same damn thing everybody else is.

finished See No Evil last night and started on 27 by William Diehl right after that.

i felt that the former was pretty good though the timeline kept jumping back and forth a bit till i get pretty dizzy. but it was entertaining nonetheless.

as i was searching for review about 27, i just found out that Diehl passed away last year...

I liked it. A little slow in some parts and a hurried ending but overall pretty satisfying. I think it will make an interesting movie if they ever option it.

A friend lent it to me to read so my price ($0) made it quite worth it.

Finished: The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt by Edmund Morris
I am officially burned out on Presidential biographies (although I have the follow-up, Theodore Rex waiting for me on my nightstand).

Still reading:

Wow, I didn't know that. . . I've read quite a few of his novels, and "Primal Fear" is one of my favorites. Talk about a jaw-dropping last page.

Just finished . . .

Another home run from the Hard Case crime line, from one of the fathers of noir.

Now I'm about 60 pages into . . .

F that pansy-boy Harry Potter crap, this is a man's book. This is like reading a Raymond Chandler book that was injected with crack & steroids. I love it, but it's way too short, I'll probably be finishing it in just one night.
