Other then the untouchables that is.

Hoods AKA Once Upon A Time in America - I don't know how much detective but plenty of crime!

Pretty much anything by Dashiel Hammett. A lot of speakeasies and bootleggers show up in his books. But illegal booze is not the point of the stories, the way it is in The Untouchables.
