Name this book - terrorists create tsunami by blowing Antarctic ice into the ocean

I read this book jacket in a bookstore once and thought it looked interesting. The premise stuck with me for some reason and I'd like to get the book, but I've completely forgotten the title and author. I remember that terrorists (I think) use a nuclear bomb to blow off a huge ice shelf/sheet from Antarctia, creating a huge, globe-spanning tsunami.

Don't know why it stuck with me, not even my typical sort of book, but the premise just stayed in my head and I feel compelled to read it. Can anybody help?

Sounds similar to State of Fear by Michael Crichton:

No - it wasn't Crichton, I would have remembered that.

No need to thank me ;)

Maybe it was "Icefire" by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens.

Bingo! Thank-you sir. Though reading the Amazon description, I'm a little leary of reading a book written by "Star Trek novelists," as I have about zero little respect for these sorts of glorified fanfic hacks. But that being said, I'm still intrigued, so I'll overlook their questionable history and see what they've got.

Again, thanks!

I've read it. Wasn't too bad. Similar to a Clive Cussler story.

Found it at the library here, so I picked it up. Am finishing up one now and it's next in the queue. Will post back with my thoughts.

Read this through. Ehh - it's okay. A few interesting sections. But on the whole, it drags along. Several of the characters are paper thin and the pacing overall is just weak.

Cool idea, poor execution.
