just finished for school:

what a depressing book. without mentioning all the lovely details of the meatpacking industry in the early 20th century, life for immigrants back then was horrible.

* of ***** Eh, I read this via audiobook and I really needed to see what the author was talking about when he talked about building the house.
Just started:
Richard Zachs is one of my favorite authors so I figure this is going to be pretty good.

Did you like the book, travlr?
Between my TV and movie viewing, I haven't had the time to read a novel in over 6 months. Visiting the new (and huge) Barnes & Noble at Ala Moana Shopping Center last week, I really felt a pang of how much I miss reading. . .

It is a cool cover though, probably one of the better Leisure covers I've seen recently.
It was a rainy weekend, and I decided to finally start reading a novel. (I checked, and it was more like 10 months since I read one.)
I chose Magic Time from my big stack, and so far, it's VERY interesting.

Oh, crap! I was just researching on Amazon for the next book in the series (Magic Time: Angelfire) , and it appears to be OOP! The cheapest paperback copy is $47.00! I would hate to be left hanging after this one!
*edit* Oh, the local libraries seem to have it!
