Batman to fight Al-Qaeda in Graphic Novel
Read here
I was sketchy until I saw it was being done by Frank Miller and what he was trying to accomplish. Looks interesting to say the least. |
It's not for me to guess whether this thread should be here in Book Talk or the Politics Forum, but it has already been posted and discussed in the latter. :)

I think it's apprpriate for both forums. The political forum to discuss the political aspects, and the book forum to discuss the potential it has to suck more than All-Star Batman & Robin. :)
|
So All-Star Batman & Robin sucks? I was afraid of that. Which is why I've been holding out on it.
|
It doesn't suck... ok, not so much suck as is insanly out of character and who knows what drug Frank is on these days.
|
Frank Miller scares me.

Is the Port of Gotham one of the six included in the Dubai deal? If so, I can see Batman exposing this whole deal while he's over there.
He'd better be careful. The last time he went to the Middle East, didn't Robin end up dead? |
VERY timid about the premise. Might be decent coming from Miller, but ... it's just too far fetched for my taste.
|
I don't like the sounds of it. If it's something Miller really wants to do, make it a fictional terrorist group or something. I hope he at least makes it subtle because there's nothing worse then being preached to.
