Sand Kings
I had added this question to a DVD request but here it is. The short story 'Sand Kings" later to be a Outter Limits story was published long ago 1970s I think in OMNI magazine. Does anyone know of a short story book or other publication where I can find it?

It's also been reprinted in a number of anthologies; including this one
Masterpieces : The Best Science Fiction of the 20th Century
You can also check used bookstores for best of anthologies. Sandkings was published in 1979 and most of the annual collections reprinted it, including the following
Best Science Fiction Stories of the Year 1979 (1980)
The Best Science Fiction of the Year 9 (1980)
Nebula Winners 15 (1981)
Masterpieces : The Best Science Fiction of the 20th Century
