I nearly bought that the other day. Is it any good?

As for me, I'm about 1/4 through The Dark Tower. I loved this series, but I'm excited to be nearly done with it.

Hard to say so far. I'm only about 100 pages in, but so far it's pretty good. It's kinda funny in places with him talking about how little "Bobby" Weir was still in high school when the band formed, and how his mom talked to Jerry about how she wouldn't let "Bobby" come to practice if it made his schoolwork suffer.
It's starting to pick up right now, now that he's talking about the acid tests.

I'm reading "Combat Jump". It is about the 82nd Airborne's assualt on Sicily, the first major airborne offensive.

Just finished "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel.A great novel about a boy(Pi) growing up as the son of a zookeeper in India who attempts to travel by ship to Canada with his family and with several animals, only the ship sinks. The story of what happened or may have happened is told to us by Pi himself as he survives on a lifeboat with Richard Parker,a 450 pound bengal tiger.Loved it :)

I thought it was even better than Rain Fall. Eisler's attention to detail, especially his descriptions of Tokyo, is amazing. The plot got a bit confusing toward the end, but I can't wait to read Rain Storm.

I'm reading Haunted as well. So far, so disgusting. The reviews sure weren't kidding about this one. But, I think this is going to be a pretty interesting read.

dyevin 05-14-05 04:46 PM

i'm only just past 'guts', which i'd heard chuck read last year so it was nothing new. i'd heard the other shorts were even more disturbing than 'guts', how far into it are you?

Tygan 05-15-05 08:12 AM

Just read the Mother Nature one...nothing disturbing about that one really.
