R.A. Salvatore latest dark elf story ??'s

OK this is what I have
'Icewind Dale' trilogy
'Dark Elf' trilogy
& 1 2 & 3 of the Legacy 4 set

thats when I stoped & went to other worlds....

Now RaS finished the Hunters blade trilogy...
do I need to get the path of darkness & the last 1 of Legacy set to understand??

& since it's been at least 5 years since I read the last one do I need to re-read everything?? if some which one should I re-read??

thankz

I read the first two books of this latest trilogy, haven't gone about getting the third yet.

You should have no problem picking these up after a long break from these characters. In fact, I think the first one includes so much backstory repitition, that it makes the series fine as a stand alone.

That being said, I remember really liking them.

Don't need to read them to understand, but I would reccomend reading them in order anyway as you definitely won't be missing anything that way, and all the books are fantastic.

Agreed 100%. The character growth/changes are a bit easier to understand if you are up to date...but they are still understandable. Drizzt & co don't change THAT much, after all.
