Any Andrew Vachss fans here?

I'm a fan of the Burke novels written by Andrew Vachss.

Andrew Vachss is my favorite author and I like the minimalist writing style and I can read the novels over and over. Anyone else, read Andrew Vachss?

Love Vachss Burke stuff.

I read just about all of them, but I think I missed the last couple that came in under the radar.

Burke is one of the great anti-heroes.......

I need to checkout some of his books. So far the only thing I have read by him is Veil's Visit a tale of Hap and Leonard with Joe R. Lansdale. I've been meaning to pickup more of works just way too much in my too read column right now.

I've read 2 Burke books, liked them.

How does his other stuff differ?

I like the guy, but I grow tired of him forcing his anti-child-abuse agenda (admittedly, a perfectly fine cause) in every...single...book. I realize writing is his forum for getting his message out there, but that's when he starts losing me as a reader. I'm more interested in his writing talent than in his message.
